JEFFREY "Big Jeff"
BEVINS
Born: 1975
Died: 08-11-2005, at age 30, Phoenix, Arizona.
In 1990-91 Jeff's sophomore year, he was a member of the MHS track team,
the JV wrestling team (defeated all their opponents), and JV football
team, wearing jersey # 71. The JV football team had a record of 8 wins
and only 1 loss, to Brophy, the 1st game of the season. In 1991-92 and
1992-93, Jeff's junior and senior years, he was on the Varsity football
team, wearing jersey # 67 both years. The 1992-93 Varsity football
season was 10 wins and 0 losses, clinching the Metro Division title and
getting into the playoffs. Jeff was a member of St. Vincent De Paul
Catholic Church. He was a "Loving Gentle Giant" preceded in death by his
parents: Donald and Clara Bevins. He is survived by his sister
Bartholene Ann Bevins, MHS; 1976, brothers: Joseph Stephen Bevins, MHS;
1977 (wife, Tammy), Paul Donald Bevins, MHS; 1981, and 3 nieces, and 4
nephews. Family suggests donations to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic
Church, 3140 North 51st Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85031. Visitation was
Friday, 08/19/2005, with a Rosary at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924
North 59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona. Funeral was Saturday, 08/20/2005
at St.
Vincent De Paul Catholic Church (Via email) . Interment at Holy
Cross Cemetery, 10045 West Thomas Road, Avondale, Arizona 85323.

ABEDON DANIEL VILLEGAS
Born: 03-31-1975
Died: 06-02-2002, at 27 years of age, in Phoenix, Maricopa County,
Arizona.
Abedon was on the 1990-91 MHS-JV football team, wearing jersey # 43.
They lost only to Brophy; finishing their season with an 8-1 record.
Abedon Daniel Villegas, 27, born March 31, 1975 died June 20, 2002. He
is survived by two sons Francisco Villegas and Isaac Villegas his Mother
and Stepfather Rebecca Villegas-Kennedy and Larry Kennedy, his Father
Daniel Villegas, and two brothers Marcus and Dominic Villegas.
Visitation and funeral service was held Tuesday, 06/25/2002 at Greenwood
Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Avenue. No Burial. Published in the

in Abedon's reported death date; the social security death index states
